Master Electrologist

Hi, my name is Shannon, and I am a professional Electrologist practicing since 2008.  I was formally trained at the American Institute of Education in California, and find my training and education to be a never-ending adventure, I especially enjoy learning from other Electrologists and teachers in my electrologist community.  I take great pride in providing a sterile working area, a clean and inviting studio, and an educational and informative consultation.  I want you to know what I know and understand the process completely.  I also greatly respect your time and will ensure you are not kept waiting for your appointment.

I was born and raised in Northern Virginia, but after my last winter there in 2008, walking 20 steps to my vehicle in a substantial down coat, hood pulled tight, and shivering all the way, I vowed that to be my last winter in VA.  I had spent time in other states on the East Coast, time out West, and even Costa Rica, but after a short visit to Charleston in April 2009, I knew this was my spot.  I rented a place that same week, and from then on called Mt. Pleasant home.  

I discovered electrology as a career by accident, and am thankful I did. I truly feel very passionate about what I do.  I love the science behind it, the precision, and especially the joy I can help bring by changing lives one hair at a time.  I believe in what I do.  

My other passions are health, nutrition, and fitness, my family and friends, traveling when possible, camping and hiking, art, DIY home improvements, and being creative in general.  I could talk with you for hours on any of these subjects, especially my passion for living a wholesome and healthy lifestyle!  

My husband, myself, and our two amazing kids call Mt. Pleasant home. My two adult children also live in the area, and my oldest son just joined the Navy!  #proudnavymom  🇺🇸
